Senator, U.S.
Kathy Salvi
Raised in Waukegan to hard-working parents, Kathy worked her way through high school and began learning the value of hard work herself when she got her first job busing tables at the age of 14. With the goal of staying in Illinois and close to her family, Kathy attended Loyola University obtaining a B.A. in Communications. However, it was through the example of her parents and her religion as well as being the family arbiter as the firstborn of nine children, Kathy decided she wanted to pursue a career in law helping others.
After passing the Bar in 1984, Kathy committed herself to public service. First, serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Harry D. Strouse of the Second Appellate District, Illinois. And then, after spending almost a year observing lawyers in court and working on a number of criminal cases, Kathy chose to continue her career in public service and become an Assistant Public Defender with the Lake County Public Defender’s Office. She obtained a firsthand look at our criminal justice system and was able to learn what worked and what did not. She was a talented trial attorney, where she had the distinction of winning 11 consecutive hearings and trials. In 1987, she entered the private practice of law and currently serves as a partner at the law firm of Salvi & Maher. She spends every day fighting for those who have been wronged by others.

State Representative, 51st Representative District
Chris Bos
When I ran for this office in 2020 I said the race was never about me. It was about us—our community—the 51st District in the state of Illinois. I said if I were to win the election our priorities would be:
Make Illinois affordable for families: I fought for lowering property taxes, capping the gasoline tax, and advocating for reasonable spending by our government. We need stronger action, not election-year gimmicks.
Keep our community safe: I passed legislation in defense of the most vulnerable, children in the foster care system and others who have been sexually exploited. I supported legislation preventing the sale of 25,000 guns and removed 7,000 more from ineligible gun owners.
Ensure our government is held accountable: I passed a landmark bill limiting the power of the Governor—the only bill of its kind this past session.
To be an independent voice and work across the aisle: Voting records will show I am willing to vote what’s best for our district, not a party line. In fact, the new laws I authored were passed with near unanimous, bi-partisan support.

The motto became more important than ever in 2007 when Dan was the victim of a hit and run accident in Mundelein while riding a motorcycle that left him with a spinal cord injury and requires him to use a wheelchair for mobility. While some people may stay down after suffering a major loss, Dan bounced back and used his experience to be able to overcome issues within his professional and public career. Socialism is the greatest threat to America today and our Individual Liberties. We must denounce the left and these radical ideas. We must end this period of American History in which radical leftists with almost complete immunity can break the laws that protect people and property against illegal violence. Our Forefathers did not craft our country to be ruled by Autocrats, Socialists, and Anarchists.
Furthermore, I am asking you to be informed and involved on issues affecting your family, your community, your local government, your local school boards, your library boards, for it is our civic duty to take part in the political process.
