CNN’s town hall with Donald Trump

On Wednesday, Donald Trump, the former US president and current Republican Party primary frontrunner for the 2024 presidential race, will take part in a live town hall hosted by CNN in New Hampshire. The event will be moderated by Kaitlan Collins, a former chief White House correspondent and anchor, and is set to begin at 8 p.m.

As Trump seeks his third term as president, several GOP candidates, including Nikki Haley, a former administration official, and Asa Hutchinson, a former Arkansas governor, are starting to emerge to challenge him for the nomination. Other strong contenders include Ron DeSantis, the current Florida governor, Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor, and Trump's former vice president, Mike Pence.

The town hall comes on the heels of a recent legal setback for Trump. A New York jury found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation and ordered him to pay $5 million to author E. Jean Carroll, adding to a list of legal issues facing the former president.
