Marko Sukovic, a cofounder of Surus Illinois, has an impressive political background that highlights his dedication to Republican campaigns in Illinois. Marko's previous experiences include working as a Media Relations Intern for the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and holding the position of Political Director for Congressman Bob Dold (R- IL10).

During his time in college, Marko played a pivotal role in the establishment of Turning Point USA, a conservative non-profit organization. Moreover, he ventured into the political arena himself by running for state representative in his home district. Marko's candidacy earned him the esteemed endorsements of the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times, which lauded him as the future of the Illinois Republican Party. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Political Science, further solidifying his academic foundation.
